Our school
Do I need prior knowledge of Spanish?
No. We offer courses from beginner to advanced levels.
In what languages can I communicate with the school?
You can contact Canarias Cultural preferably in Spanish or English, although we also understand German and French.
Can I combine a course and accommodation?
Yes. The school offers different accommodation options along with the course, such as host families, shared apartments, and other options depending on availability.
How long do the courses last?
The duration of courses at Canarias Cultural is flexible and can range from one week to several weeks, depending on the type of program you choose.
What are the ages and nationalities of the students?
We welcome students of all ages and backgrounds. The majority come from European Union countries, although every year we welcome students from all over the world, creating an international and enriching environment.
How many students are there per class?
To guarantee personalized teaching, groups are small: a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 students per class.
What times are available?
We generally offer classes between 8:00 and 15:00. The schedule will depend on the school’s organization, although we always try to accommodate the student’s preferences.
How is my Spanish level determined?
During enrollment, you will give us an idea of your level, but on the first day, you will take an oral or written test to accurately evaluate your level and place you in the appropriate group.
Will I receive a certificate upon finishing the course?
Yes. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of attendance, provided you have attended at least 90% of the classes.
Can I extend the duration of my course?
Yes, it is usually possible. We recommend letting us know in advance.
Enrollment, payment, and prices
How do I enroll in a course?
You can complete our online enrollment form or send us an email with your details.
When should I make the payment?
To reserve your place, you only need to pay an initial deposit of 30% after receiving the confirmation and invoice. You can comfortably pay the remaining amount during the first week of the course.
What happens if I need to cancel my course?
We recommend letting us know as soon as possible. The cancellation conditions are detailed in our general terms and conditions.
What payment methods are available?
For your convenience, the prepayment is made by bank transfer, while you can easily pay the rest of the amount in cash or by card.
Accommodation
Can I stay outside the standard dates?
The accommodation offered by the school is only available during the period the student is enrolled in a course.
Is it possible to rent private accommodation?
Yes. Santa Cruz de Tenerife offers a wide variety of rental options. If you wish, we can guide and help you in your search.
